They Want to Ride Their Bicycles Where They Like

A fleet of 50 bicycles that was part of a wedding cortege in downtown Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, created a commotion last Wednesday morning.

The bridegroom, Liang Weifeng, led the procession to bride Pan Yu'an's home at 7:30 am and they then took a tour of the city's major streets before arriving at Liang's home for the wedding ceremony.

Liang is a vice director of the local cycling association and one onlooker said the procession was a fashionable and environmentally friendly idea.
