GD Government Allocates RMB 128 Million (USD 17 Million) Oil Subsidy

In order to offer support to non-profit organizations and poor people in the event that refined oil prices keeps rising, Guangdong Provincial Government has allocated a subsidy totaling RMB 128 Million yuan (USD 17 million) to the fishery, forestry and taxi industries that are greatly affected by the high oil prices.

Diesel oil in Guangzhou is now in short supply and almost all private gas stations are out of stock.

The supply of refined oil in Guangdong province is mainly supplied by Sinopec and China Petro Co.
