China Mobile's Guangdong subsidiary announced yesterday that its cooperation with China Construction Bank's Guangdong subsidiary has resulted in a new service that enables subscribers to use China Construction Bank ATMs to add credit to pre-paid phones.

In order to use the service, China Mobile's GoTone, M-Zone and Easyown subscribers should have an account at the China Construction Bank, according to a customer service representative with China Mobile. China Mobile users can choose to put RMB 30 ($4.02), RMB 50 ($6.71), RMB 100 ($13.41), RMB 300 ($40.24) or RMB 500 (.06) on their phones per transaction. The service is now available in all cities in Guangdong, excluding Shenzhen.
