Six Caught Trying to Sell Stolen Crocodiles

Six people who stole four crocodiles in Foshan's Gaoming District in February were sentenced to one to two years in jail in this city of Guangdong on Monday,Foshan Daily reports.

The defendants stole the crocodiles from a crocodile farm in February. They were arrested by police when they tried to sell the crocodiles to local restaurants. Each crocodile weighed more than 100 kilograms.

The crocodiles were imported from Thailand.
