Guangzhou-Foshan Metro Construction To Be Delayed

Guangzhou-Foshan Metro on April 4 said the complete metro line will open to traffic in 2012, two years later than the scheduled.

They explained considering the traffic in Haizhu Distirct where five Guangzhou Metro stations and Guangzhou Metro Line Two, Three and Eight are located, they decided to delay the construction date.

However, Guangzhou-Foshan Metro will open 15 stops as planed in 2010 and will be connected with Guangzhou Metro's Xilang Station.
