The price of 222 medical services will be reduced in Guangdong. The most heavily decreasing amplitude includes “garmma (γ) knife” for treating encephalopathy, which reduce to 6200 yuan from 16420 yuan per time. At the same time, check of Ultrasonography B drops to 40 yuan from 63 yuan.

In general, through this adjustment, 2.61% of overall medical service price will go down. It is estimated that 285 million yuan will be saved as a result. The regional medical organizations must carry out the new price before January 1 next year.
