Macao Hosts Orchid Show

An orchid exhibition is on show here Tuesday at the Lou Lim Ieoc Garden to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, which started on Feb. 18.

The show, co-organized by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau and the Macao Artistic Orchid Association, comprises some 100 types of western and Chinese orchids.

The Macao Artistic Orchid Association also launched a workshop at the garden on the sidelines of the orchid show in a bid to raise the public knowledge of the flowering plant.

The exhibition is held here in spring and autumn every year.
