Premier Wen Jiabao Meets HK and Macao Chief

Premier Wen Jiabao on Friday met Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Chief Executive of Macao SAR, Edmund Ho Hau Wah. 

During the meetings, Tsang and Ho reported what their regional governments have been working on this year. Premier Wen Jiabao said implementing the basic law of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the principles of "One Country, Two Systems", and "Hong Kong people governing Hong Kong" is the basis of achieving the SAR's prosperity and stability.

Wen Jiabao also said Macao's economy has been growing steadily. He promised that the central government will continue to support both regions.
