Updated Beijing Time

The State Council has announced the exact dates for this year's Mid-Autumn Day Holidays and the National Day Holidays. September 22nd, 23rd and 24th will be the Mid-Autumn Day Holidays whilst as usual; the National Day Holidays will take place from the 1st to the 7th of October. Most years both holidays fall at the close time. That gives workers longer holidays and the possibility for those living far away to go home.

As usual, the extended holidays must be caught up by working before and after the break as following:

September 17th: working day
September 18th: holiday
September 19th to 21st: working days
September 22nd to 26th: holidays
September 27th to 30th: working days
October 1st to 7th: holidays
October 8th to 9th: working days
October 10th: holiday
October 11th to 15th: working days
