Nick Vujicic, 26, born without legs or arms, is taught by Bethany Hamilton how to surf in Hawaii in 2008. Nick was born in Melbourne, Australia, but now lives in Los Angeles and heads the ministry "Life without Limbs" as an Evangelical Christian. His disability came without any medical explanation - a rare occurrence called Phocomelia. He has a small foot which he calls his 'chicken drumstick' that acts as a propellor in the water and enables him to swim very efficiently. He was taught by his father to swim at 18 months old and type with his toe at just 6 years old. He uses an electric wheelchair and has a team of carers to help him travel. He has visited over 24 countries and has plans for further travel to South America and the Middle East. [CFP]

As a huge fan of the English Premier League, Nick Vujicic also plays golf with a club tucked under his chin. [CFP]
