Back to Classic: Pearl River Inte'l Poetry Festival

Organized by the British Consulate and local media, the festival provides a platform to share the spirit of poetry. The theme of the third session is "Back to Classic", probing the co-oporation between poetry, the public, commerce and art.

Over 30 poets and artists from home and abroad have been invited to join the festival. They include Taiwan's famous poet Yu Guangzhong; Bill Herbert, a famous poet from Scotland and professor at Lancaster University and José Manuel Briceo Guerrero, a famous Venezuelan poet and nominee for the Nobel Prize for Literature.
