Life of Guangzhou - The 4th Sexuality Culture Festival comes to GZ

The 4th Sexuality Culture Festival will be held from November 4 to 6 at the "Dongbao Fair," one of the corollary events of the Chinese Export Commodity Fair.

The 3-day event features 18 activities, including an exhibition of ancient artifacts from the Zhuji Alley Museum in Nanxiong City, including an estimated 100 precious ancient sexual cultural relics, 100 ancient "Sexual Happiness" ceramic prints – many of which are on display for the first time. Life-size male and female sculptures and wide-screen educational videos will also promote some interesting discussions on sex education.

Last year' s "Ancient Sexuality Culture Exhibition" and "Underwear Modeling Show" attracted throngs of visitors, at one stage having to close due to overcrowding.

This year, admission to the exhibition floor where the 4 most popular activities ("Ancient Sexuality Culture Exhibition", "Sexual Happiness" ceramic prints, life-size sculptures and the "Underwear Modeling Show"), will require an admission ticket costing at a maximum of 10 yuan.

Lectures to promote sexual health

Senior sexologists will lecture more than 1,500 government officials and civil servants in Guangdong Province during The Fourth China Sexuality Cultural Festival, which opens in Guangzhou on Saturday, according to the New Express Daily.

The lectures aim to promote sexual health and raise awareness of men's health problems.

A recent survey by the Guangzhou Population and Family Planning Bureau indicated that more than 50 percent of local civil servants refuse the help of doctors and other experts when they encounter sexual problems.

As well as the lectures, special events including video shows and underwear showings will be organized to help promote sexual health as well as prevention of AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, during the three-day event that takes place in the exhibition halls of the Chinese Import and Export Commodities Fair at Renmin Bei Rd.
