Asian Games to Create Logistics Cake

Guangzhou's hosting of the Asian Games in 2010 will create a logistics demand of about 21 billion Yuan, providing the Konggang Logistics Union in Huadu District with an unprecedented opportunity.
The Foundation Ceremony of the first logistics union in South China, the Guangzhou Huadu Konggang Logistics Union (also known as the Council Inauguration of the First Session), was held in Huadu District on August 4.

More than 100 logistics enterprises in Huadu District
It is reported that the Guangzhou government has invested about 200 billion Yuan for the construction of stadiums and urban infrastructure to welcome the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. The Asian Games will bring the Huadu Konggang Logistics Union an enormous chance. There are 73 members in the Konggang Logistics Union, including Air China Limited South China Base, Guangzhou Baiyun International Logistics Co., Ltd., and various other large enterprises. There are more than 100 logistics enterprises located in Huadu District currently.
Huadu District to make full use of the Konggang Logistics Union
Huadu District will exert its predominance of traffic, said Zhang Zhongjian, the warden of Huadu District. He also said that Huadu District will make full use of the Konggang Logistics Union to accelerate the development of its logistics industry, making Huadu one of the top-ranking Asian aviation logistics bases in 10-15 years.
