Logistics Enterprises Blossom Around Airport

FedEx Express Asian and Pacific Transshipment Center is going to have its construction completed. More than one hundred logistics enterprises find harbor near the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, adding to the price of real estate. Several comprehensive logistics parks, which cover over 2000 hectares, will appear in Huadong Town near the airport.

Business Soars in Logistics Enterprises by the Airport

The New Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has far more parking space than the former airport. Some logistics enterprises have witnessed their business increasing by 30% annually, and shipping haulage by 30%~50%.

Young freight forwarding companies have also benefited during last 4 years. On average, these companies have gained about 10% profit. More than 30% of logistics enterprises now gather near the airport.

Boom in Building Logistics Park

The planned warehouse base has not been built at the north exit of the airport due to fierce competition and high costs. However a logistics park was set up in Huadong to solve these problems. A number of enterprises have participated in the project, contributing over 30 million yuan in rents over the past five years.
