"7 - Eleven" Convenience Store to Provide EMS Service

Guangzhou will be the first city in the country to have 7 – Eleven provide EMS business. 7 – Eleven convenience stores will provide postal EMS business such as the all-day EMS service within the city, domestic EMS and international EMS of documents.

Since then, the number of Guangzhou Post admitting outlets increased from 800 to over 1000. The postal sector also said that in the future, "7 - Eleven" will gradually explore the other postal businesses such as mail acceptance of articles and international EMS.

From the 7th of this month until the end of the year, the fees of the EMS are divided into four grades depending on geographical regions, namely the regions of Guangzhou City, the Pearl River Delta, and the non-PRD regions in the province and country. Regardless of the weight, if the items can be put into the EMS courier envelope, the fees of the four regions are separately 12 Yuan, 16 Yuan, 18 Yuan and 20 Yuan. Next year the fees will be charged according to the weight. Citizens can purchase the EMS envelopes and address letter in the "7 - Eleven" convenience stores with two Yuan and give the envelopes to the staff there for checking before being sealed.
