Unlike total eclipse, a partial eclipse only has three phases- the beginning, the maximum eclipse, the last contact(the second external tangent of the moon and the sun).
The eclipse will begin at 8:13 am and reach its relative maximum at 9:24 am. People can see the last contact at about 10:44 am.
Astronomers said that this partial solar eclipse can be easily seen by eyes, therefore there is no need to climb up Baiyun Mountain or somewhere else.
