Located in the heart of Pearl River New City area of Tianhe District, the 40-storey Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou is the crown jewel of this new regional central business district. It is set to offer a world of luxury in Southern China.

From the 20th to 38th floors, the hotel offers 351 luxurious guestrooms featuring elegant European design, distinctive amenities and premier river views. The entry level guestrooms, at 50 square meters/ 540 square feet, are the largest in the city. The Ritz-Carlton Suite is located on the top floor, and features a walk-in wine cellar, a private gym, and two 40-square-meter / 430-suqare-feet patios, including an outdoor Jacuzzi and barbecue grill.

The premier location of the hotel is enhanced by nearby luxury residential and commercial landmarks that include Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum and the new Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, where the semi-annual China Import and Export Fair is held.

The Ritz-Carlton, Guangzhou is the fourth luxury property in the company to open in China. The hotel will join The Ritz-Carlton Beijing, Financial Street, The Ritz-Carlton, Beijing and The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai in the China portfolio of the award-winning hotel company based in Chevy Chase, Maryland (U.S.A.).

In 2008 the Ritz-Carlton, Shenzhen in Guangdong and the Ritz-Carlton, Sanya in Hainan Province will be opened, in addition to the turn-up of RC hotels in Hong Kong's Kowloon and Shanghai. It demonstrates that the hotel magnate is going to extend its strong foothold in South China.
