Jinlun Guild Hall

锦纶会馆

Updated Beijing Time

The Jinlun Guild Hall Renovation Project has been officially completed and has passed checks and has been accepted by an expert group that graded the work as "Excellent".

The Guild hall, which is the only well preserved silk guild hall, was established during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng during the Qing Dynasty (1723) and was formerly located in Xilai New Street in Shangxiajiu Road.

In 2001, to make way for road widening, the Guild Hall was relocated northward by 80 meters, westward by 22.4 meters and elevated by 1.085 meters. In August 2004, the Renovation Project was completed and after two years of testing finally passed inspection.

The relocation project has provided valuable experience for city construction and cultural relic protection.
