【Video】Guangzhou Bird Paradise - Nansha Wetland Park

Updated Beijing Time

At the south of Guangzhou (Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District), lies a 2200 hectare Mangroves Wetland - Nansha Wetland Park. It is Guangdong's first wetland park. Citizens can appreciate mangroves and tens of thousands of birds of various kinds in the park.

Mangroves are trees and shrubs that grow in saline coastal habitats in the tropics and subtropics. For environmental considerations and in order to minimize disturbance to birds, park administrators limit the number of visitors to 100 per day.
