Denmark Inaugurates Three more Bang & Olufsen Shops in Guangdong

This August three more Danish brand Bang & Olufsen audio and video shops (B&O) opened in Guangdong.

Princess Benedikte of Denmark and the President of B&O A/S, Mr. Jorgen Worning, attended the synchronized openings of Top Living (Shenzhen)深圳星河第三空间, the Mayland Home Expo (Guangzhou)广州美林家居世博园and The MixC (Shenzhen)深圳万象城.

B&O was established in 1925 by two young Danish engineers, Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, and has been a favored brand of audio and video equipment used by many European Royal Courts. The products have also been included in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art of New York.

Princess Benedikte said in the ceremony that "The South Denmark Region and Guangdong Province have developed a sister-region relation since 2007. It is my pleasure to visit and to experience the warm welcome of Guangdong. B&O is one of the representative high quality products of Denmark. We hope it is welcomed in China."

President of B&O A/S Jorgen Worning said, "China is a very important market in B&O's global strategy. The first B&O store in China was opened in July 2004, and now we have 18 stores in 12 cities across the country."

B&O also cooperates with high-end brands like Louis Vuitton, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Audi, various yacht companies, etc.
