As the Beijing Olympic Games approach, there are now many commercial goods in Guangzhou designed with sports themes.

A mobile phone shop at Lingyuan Xi Lu sells different styles of Olympic-themed mobile phones: Fuwa-shaped, water-cubed covered (left and center) and the "Jing" character, with the five-rings printed on its back.

Slippers shaped like the Bird's Nest

Guangzhou Restaurant promotes a "torch" dish, comprised of sliced geoduck (a type of clam) from the North Atlantic coast of Canada, with bitter melon on crushed ice.

A nail and cosmetology shop offers Olympic-themed nails.
