Located to the east gate of the Guang Dong Museum of Arts, in Ersha Dao, "Back street 38#" is a jazz bar & restaurant surrounded by a lovely bamboo forest. With its special artistic touch, Back Street is a great place to relax enjoying Jazz, meal and drinks when you're looking for a bit of quiet away from the crowds.

Deep in a Bamboo forest
Still remember the beautiful bamboo forest in the film "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon"? You could also find a lovely one in front of the bar. To enjoy western jazz deep inside a mysterious Chinese bamboo forest – what a beautiful fusion of east and west! Jazz Live Show
Stepping through the entrance and over the glass walkway, downstairs you'll find a platform for musicians. Jazz live show here every night could be the biggest attraction for jazz fans. A brilliant singer from Australia was on the platform when we went there. She and her band can even play your favorite song on request. So, feel free to swing with the music!

Bar & Restaurant
Besides the modern decor and soothing music, back street has a wild selection for drinks. Beer, cocktail, wine, martini… almost everything you could ask for. The second floor is for dinner. Thanks to the glass walkway, you wouldn't miss the jazz show when you enjoy your meal. Moreover, Film in black and white is projected onto the wall so that your eyes will be also satisfied.

Mirror on the wall
Toilette inside the bar is another surprise for me. The door opens itself automatically, inside you could find the reflection of you from all directions in the mirrors on the wall everywhere.
