Updated Beijing Time

The long-expected Euro 2008 Football Tournament is just around the corner. Fans eagerly await the excitement and tension of goals being scored, tackles made, and wins and losses racked up... as well as the beer, peers, and raucous cheering that make nights out in this dynamic city so entertaining.

"Life of Guangzhou" invites you to come out and share in the intoxication of hot nights and live European football beginning this Sunday at:

Elephant & Castle

Hooley's

Hooley's is the sports-loving foreigner's natural habitat. Football, basketball, rugby, and floorball teams often stop by after games in Tianhe for a couple rounds of beer, giving the bar a convivial air. Hooley's is also the club house of the Guangzhou Rams Rugby Club and hosts awards parties for the Guangzhou Amateur Football League for Expats and other international sports associations.

Spacious and lively with a touch of Irish tradition, Hooley's gives patrons a warm feeling, which may or may not be attributed to their beer flush.  [More]
