It was established by a senior executive and a group of cooks of locally renowned Qingping Restaurant, which had ever been famous for its Qingping Chicken but closed down years ago.

Wenji's menu features quite a few delicacies of Qingping Restaurant, including the Yixin Chicken, almost the same of Qingping Chicken.
