Jin Kuang (Gold Mine): RTV, not KTV

Jin Kuang (Gold Mine), actually, is not as luxurious as its name implies, neither does it have anything to do with mineral resources. However, you can find criss-cross streets, courtyards, big houses, even stone drums and blocks delivered from Shunde, wooden doors in Xiguan style and pavilions and terraces with Chinese and Western features combined together. Moreover, all that I have mentioned is built indoors. When you wander around the streets or cross the lanes here, you just feel like walking around Xiguan in the late Qing Dynasty.

As a KTV, Jin Kuang indeed has its own character. Usually, the KTV is like a labyrinth with low ceilings and narrow passages. This has been totally changed by Jin Kuang. The rooms here, with simple decoration, contain a sofa, a TV set with cabinet and two big tables, furnished with some greenery. Large projection screens are installed in more than fifty rooms. Jin Kuang creates a simple but cosy environment.

The concept of "RTV" advocated in Jin Kuang is worth mentioning. The first letter "R" stands for "RELAX", with the meaning of relief and recreation.

For relaxation and recreation, delicious food is indispensable. The buffet here is splendid. The chefs are from Bing Sheng Restaurant and produce a small Bing Sheng buffet. Various kinds of Chinese dishes, desserts and dim-sum are available here and are all fantastic.

Transportation and Parking Tips: You may take No.88, No.192 and No.220 etc. to Jilicun, Qianjin Rd. You can find a free parking lot at the entrance of RTV or in the basement.

Pricing Standard: Jin Kuang adopts the lodge system. Lodges are divided into five types, including big, medium, small, party and VIP. The price varies depending upon the time. The price for the cheapest lodge at the cheapest time is 40yuan/h, and the price for the most expensive at the most expensive time may reach 280yuan/h. The buffet will be charged additionally, the price before 18:00 is 23yuan/person, and 28yuan/person after.
