Ah, summer, it is time to venture into the sunny outdoors, or at least consider paying a visit to a summer-theme exhibition.
Over 20 oil paintings make up Dong's Solo Oil Painting exhibition "Carefree Summer", created in 2007, and are being displayed at Shamian Island's Art 64 Gallery, until August 6.
Born and bred in Hainan, a Southest provincial island in China, Dong Yidian's paintings are destined to connect infinity with oceanic landscapes.
Recently I was invited to the oil painting exhibition by Dong Yidian(董一点), the so-called "son of peasants" who focuses on the theme of natural sceneries.

During the summer, it is cool to let your eyes go on tour.
