Isabelle DURET-DUJARRIC, born in 1949, studied very early under Parisian artists' instruction. From 1968 she has contributed to her unique oil painting skills on pasteboard, and she is now the only one in the world leading the way in this skill.
Since 1973 her works have been exhibited in Europe, America, Africa and Asia many times, her personal exhibitions have been displayed all over the world.
Isabelle's masterpieces are regarded as the mainstream of the new movement of modern figurative and expressionist art. Her paintings have been exhibited in Sofia under the official sponsorship of the Bulgarian National Culture Bureau; American universities have organized important events on her works; the French government chose Isabelle's paintings as the theme of the Sino-France Culture Exchange Summit held from 1986 to 1987.
Landscapes and Mediterranean figures are Isabelle's favorite subjects. Her works have been included in the collections of museums, governments and private collectors in France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Holland, Germany, England, Bulgaria, Senegal, Australia, China, and the United States.

From 1984, Isabelle has cooperated with the Paris Drouant Gallery as a long-term printer. Before then permanent artists like Bernard Buffet, Yves Brayer, Tofoli, Fred Menguy have also cooperated with the gallery.
In 1985, her works were shown at the Presence Gallery in Belgium, in 1986 at Dallas Southwest Gallery and Sherman International Galleries in USA, and in 1991, the Gallery of the Picasso Museum in Paris.
In 1985, after a retrospective celebration of her 25 year art career in Avenue Georges V in Paris, a gallery in Paris became her exclusive agent. It is named "DURET-DUJARRIC PARIS".
In the international art world, Isabelle's paintings are always adored by professionals and laymen. Critics agree that her unique skills renew the creation of oil painting. The style of her work is so powerful that the colors hold a mysterious force. No matter if it is a 3-meter or 30-meter distance, her works are appreciated. Her unique skills in oil painting are included in art academics as a typical example.
