For the second year running, Liang Xiutong (梁彤秀) is in Guangzhou with her new exhibition Instant Paris. Born in Guangzhou in 1953, Liang graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Suzhou and then taught in Guangzhou before moving to France in 1992.

In her works, Liang tries to grasp the essence of Parisian streets. She believes awareness to the "instance" is way of experiencing life. Active amongst French Contemporary Impressionists, she has formed an alliance with a group of French artists devoted to what has become known as "Contemporary Impressionism."
