Quinquennial GD Art Exhibition Celebrating the 60th Founding Anniversary of PRC

As a quinquennial feast of art circle, the Guangdong Fine Art Exhibition is showcasing the province's highest level artworks in the past five years at the Guangzhou Museum of Art until July 5.

755 pieces including such arts as Chinese painting, sculpture, oil, print, animation, illustration, porcelain, lacquer painting, mural, watercolor and Chinese New-year painting reveal the huge changes of the country in its artistic ways.

All the pieces on display are composed of nominated works, panels and veterans' works, as well as 83 pieces of award works, 33% of which were created by emerging artists under 35.

About 100 pieces will be selected to join the upcoming eleventh session of the quinquennial national-level exhibition.
