The 13th International Art Fair (Guangzhou) is to commence on December 11th till 15th, in the Jinhan Complex of Guangzhou, South China, amid the world's economic downturn.
The event is hosted jointly by the China Artists Association, and the local municipal government.
Over 500 artists from more than 100 institutions will join the event.
The exhibits from 19 countries and regions are going to be showcased. Over 3,000 art pieces from some 100 artists from France, Italy, Hungary, Russia, Australia, America, South Korea, Singapore, North Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Belgium, Iran, Venezuela, Ecuador and Bosnia-Herzegovina are to cater the public a visual feast.
The art institutions from Iran, Venezuela, Ecuador and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be featured for their entrance in the Guangzhou market.
The artists and institutions from Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Liaoning, and Guangdong will account for the major part of Chinese presence in the fair as they enjoy relatively strong artistic development and tradition.
