Dong Yidian(董一点), a Li Minority from the most southern China, was born in Sanya of Hainan province in 1966. There is a naïve honesty and primitivism in Dong's works, in which trees dance, alleys sing and the sun smiles as he blows kisses to the stars. These child-like aspects evoke the charm and purity of a fairy tale world.
