As a successful artist, Günther Uecker has benefited hugely from his personal experiences and his philosophical thinking towards the world. His deep thoughts span the geographical limits on borders to include the oriental spirits. He was influenced by various philosophical ideologies, cares about the life experiences of human beings and tries hard to re-define the times he lives with artistic language.

Synchronized with the ups and downs and changes of modern art ideologies since the latter half of last century, the art creation of Uecker also shows the expansive changes in language and means, full of experimental and exploring spirits.
