"Walking Art": there is no better expression to present this exhibition about the history of the Italian footwear, held by the CICC-Guangdong from August 25th to September 26th 2007 at the Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.

The aim of this show is to give the chance to all visitors to understand the long history of the design and handicraft about the Italian footwear, by traveling over again five centuries of the history of the shoes.

The working technique, inventiveness and the research of new materials make the Italian shoes the best in the market.

 

 

The artists creative minds and the unique style of an ancestral tradition founded from a mix from different artistic sources such as culture, place and manufacturing ability, makes the Italian style always the most researched and appreciated for its particularity and continue innovation. The sections of the exhibition present a very interesting travel into the Italian footwear world.
