The name "Xiaozhou" is now familiar to many people with an interest in art and those curious about the countryside surrounding Guangzhou. To celebrate to Lunar New Year, exhibitions shall be held at the Xiaozhou Art Zone until February 28th.

Introduction:For the second year running, Liang Xiutong is in Guangzhou with her new exhibition Instant Paris. Born in Guangzhou in 1953, Liang graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Suzhou and then taught in Guangzhou before moving to France in 1992.

Introduction:Qin Chong is an artist born in Xinjiang in 1968. He worked and lived in Beijing from 1986 to 1999 where he founded the Beijing Ammonal Gallery and organized a number of exhibitions in China and abroad.

Introduction:Ruan Yunguang, born in 1901 in Guangdong and is without doubt one of the most influential Zhongshan-born artists of the 20th century.

Introduction:The Guangzhou Book Center welcomes throughout February a very romantic stamp exhibition. The stamps show the most romantic icons of the love cultures in different regions.

Introduction:Over 30 precious clocks and watches are on display at the Guangzhou Museum. The items date back to the 18th and 19th century during the Qing Dynasty and were all were gifts and tributes placed in the Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum.
