"Eye for an Eye" Breaking Art Festival

Updated Beijing Time

The second edition of Breaking Art Festival will open at Fei Gallery on July 29th at 8pm. Dancers from Yunna Studio along with independent dancers and choreographers are set to collaborate with jewelry designers, musicians, photographers, sculptors and directors for four days of intense artistic experimentation.

Yunna Studio was established in Guangzhou by Yunna Long in April, 2003. It serves to increase exposure to modern art. From 2003 to 2009, Yunna Studio has launched modern dance performances and cooperated with companies and local governments, conducting cultural activities based on the theme "Experience Modern Art, Improve quality of life". These were small scale activities which occurred in small communities and at schools to strengthen artistic awarness. Following the success of their first festival in 2009, Yunna Studio decided to make the festival an annual event.
