Creative Dance Workshop by Scottish Dance Theatre

Hold hands with the British Consulate General in Guangzhou, and the Guangzhou Second Children's Palace,  the Scottish Dance Theatre – one of the leading dance theatre companies in the UK -  will present a three-day workshop for creative learning on dance in Guangzhou. It encourages participants with various disabilities to explore their creativity and increase their confidence with their dancing skills.

Dancers, instructors, and art enthusiasts in communities as well as staff in disabled service charities are targeted as key participants for the workshop. They are only accepting 20 participants, please download the sign-in form you see here.

Any one 18 years old or older with disabilities are welcome to join the workshop beginning on October 11th. For this workshop they will be accepting 10 participants, please download the sign-in form also available here.

Schedule

	10:10am to 12:00pm	13:30-16:30
October 10th	Introduction of workshop, and viewing of a 'shore dual' dance by Caroline Bowditch, Creation of impromptu dance.	Creative dance workshop by Scottish Dance Theatre; Theories and Practices.
October 11th	Share time for current experiences of participants by a comprehensive angel	Disables dancers join practice, creating the final dance on the third day of the workshop.
October 12th	Dance rehearsal	Feedback and additional rehearsal of the dance program in the morning.
