Listen! U.S. All-star Band Jazz Concert

Last Sunday night, an all-star jazz band from U.S. performed at the mini theater in the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, taking the audience on a marvelous trip into the jazz world. [Set out On Rhythm Road]

The four musicians, drummer Alvin Atkinson, Jr., trumpet Charlie Porter, double bass Ari Roland and pianist Eli Yamin, from Lincoln Center and the U.S. Department of State, brought a feast of tacit, light-hearted entertainment and fabulous solos which won the overwhelming approval of the entire hall.  [Story of Rhythm Road]

Another performance will be held tonight at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center.

The band will move to Chengdu after the first leg of their tour in Guangzhou, and leave for U.S. on September 14.
