Reborn (再生) explores the combination of jewelry, corporel movements and dance. Both jewelry and the body are thus combine to give birth to something new. Why do we wear jewelry? Why do we choose to exaggerate certain parts of the body? What, then, is the body? Does it wear, or is it worn?

Zhang Xiaochuan (张小川) graduated from Domus Academy in Milan, Italy. She mastered in accessories design and since returning to China, she has set up her own workshop and brand in Guangzhou. To return home was a way for her to be closer to her Cantonese roots which have an undeniable influence on her work.
