ProgramⅠ: Near... Choreographed by Olga Cobos and Peter Mika Performed by CobosMika Company (Spain)
Imagine yourself "being trapped" in an emotional labyrinth where resistance only leads to surrender... We thought we knew what love is. We strive to take control but have to let go at the end as the love we thought we wanted may turn out to be completely unacceptable.
Near...(若即若离) depicts our desperation for love - a state that can only be felt but cannot be touched.
Olga Cobos was nominated the "Best Young Dancer" by a German critic in the "Ballet International Tanz Aktuell" in 1995, and in 1999 as "Best Dancer". During ten years of professional work she has been performing in many countries and theaters.
Peter Mika has been awarded by the prize of the Rudolf Nureyev Foundation at the "8th International Concours de Dance de Paris" in 1998,2nd Prize at The international solo choreography competition in Stuttgart.
In 2000, Olga Cobos and Peter Mika created CobosMika Company. Their daring, explosive and virtuous choreographic language blends dance with improvisation and incorporates elements of martial arts and physical theatre. In 2009 they inaugurated SOLC dance and movement research centre to extend and reinforce the existing structure, in which, as associated company, they develop their creation, research and training work. CobosMika Company has received prestigious AWARDS such as the Robin Howard Foundation best young choreographers prize, The Place (London 2002); Fördertanz Preise to the best choreography (Münich 2003); 2nd choreography prize at International Solo Dance Competition (Stuttgart 2004), Best Award in Performing Arts at Inund'Art (Girona 2008).

La Fletrissure
ProgramⅡ: La Fletrissure Choreographed by Jens van Daele Performed by 2move Dance Company (The Netherlands)
The diminishing friendship or fellowship between two men... is it because of a woman, or of what they did not know about each other?
Jens van Daele started his classical training at the Stedelijk instituut for Ballet in Antwerpen. His career as a dancer started with Ballet Royal Wallonie. He won the price for best dance performer (zilveren zwaan) in 2005. From 1999 he starts creating his own choreography’s for production houses.
The 2move Dance Company was established in 2006 by Miquel de Jong and Kevin Polak to promote the work of Dutch choreographers. They have reversed normal procedures in the dance world: instead of the choreographers choosing the dancers for a piece he or she created, Kevin and Miquel invite a choreographer to create a piece for them: a 10 – 15 minute duet for two men. Kevin and Miquel then film the rehearsals, interview the choreographer about his / her way of working and edit this into a short film.
