India produces over one thousand feature films every year and is one of the biggest film kingdoms in the world, often referred to as "Bollywood". Indian movies tend to be highly musical, and flamboyant song and dance scenes are an indelible part of popular Indian cinema.

Invited by the Asia Art Festival held in China, the Indian Bollywood Movie Song and Dance Troupe will perform popular Indian show tunes from classics such as Awaara and Caravan for Chinese audiences this year.
