Written by the 19th century French playwright Georges Feydeau, renowned as the "father of low-class comedy," in 1907, A Flea in Her Ear is a farce-comedy in three acts which follows a pattern based on deception. It is a comedy of situation involving marriage.
This play was later adapted by Hong Kong stage director Anthony Chan. This Cantonese adaptation shall be performed by the Hong Kong Drama Troupe on May 21st and 22nd as part of the China 9th Art Festival. This comedy shall be present with Chinese and English subtitles.
