Tsai Chin (蔡琴)is a pop and folk singer from Taiwan (her ancestral home is in Hubei). She sings in both Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese Minnan and is known for her naturally magnetic rich vocals and witty persona. The peak of her popularity in Taiwan was from the late 1970s to the mid-1990s but she remains popular in Chinese mainland.

The Taiwan veteran singer and audiophiles' favorite starred as a nun-on-the-run in a stage musical adapted from the popular American movie Sister Act. The repertoire included a duet called "Love is Like a Song" which was penned and performed by Tsai Chin. The powerful melody and its profound and inspirational theme endeared the song to her so much that she decided to make it the main cut of her latest album. Released in August 2009, the album Love is Like a Song contains a new solo version of the song and two other new tunes: "Love" and "My Heart is a Sea". In addition, Tsai Chin offers her own renditions of nine classic campus folk songs using her impeccable voice.
