To mark the 60th anniversary of Swiss – PRC diplomatic relations, the Swiss Consulate General in Guangzhou is organizing a concert at Xinghai Concert Hall on August 8th. Conducted by Mario Venzago, the Bard Symphony Orchestra is one of the three most important Swiss symphony orchestras. Together with Chinese violinist Huang Mengla, they shall be performing Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D, probably one of the four most famous violin concertos in the world.
