Mahler's Symphony No.3 is the most breathtaking of all his symphonies for its consistently unchangeable speed and emotions which can be rarely founding his other works. Some have said that what Symphony No.3 presents is nothing but the sound of nature. It can bring the audience back to nature. The concert would be jointly performed by the Shanghai Opera House Chorus, the Guangzhou Little Skylark Children's Choir and the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra. The conductor would be Mr. Yu Long, Conductor of the China Philharmonic Orchestra which has just given an outstanding performance for Pope Benedict XVI in a landmark concert at the Vatican.
