Concert Hall of Xinghai Conservatory of Music

Venue: No. 398, Waihuan Xi Rd., inside Xinghai Conservatory, Guangzhou University Town (广州大学城外环西路398号)

The Concert Hall of Xinghai Conservatory of Music in the Guangzhou University Town with a capacity of 1,060, is the world's huge symphonic halls and the first acoustics-oriented music hall nationwide. It can produce the first-class acoustic effects.

The concert hall has been tested by the Acoustic Research Office of South China University. It shows that the reverberation time of medium frequencies when all the seats are taken is 2.2 seconds, higher than the 2 seconds in the National Grand Theatre and Music Hall Vienna. The other indices are also among the top 3 in China.

The music halls will hold international academic meetings and master classes as well as introduce domestic and international music festivals in addition to being a base for teaching and research. It will constitute the three major halls together with the Ersha Xinghai Music Hall and Guangzhou Opera.
