Personal Solution against Titanium Dioxide

Background: At 16:50 on August 17, titanium tetrachloride leaked due to errors while staff of a titanium dioxide factory in Dongpu district of Tianhe, were dismantling container of titanium dioxide.

The Health Authority gave the following procedures, for dealing with titanium tetrachloride:

1.Immediately remove contaminated clothing

2.Wash the chemical from skin or eyes with soapy water as quickly as possible

3.Don't panic! Breathe smoothly to minimize oxygen requirements

4.Go to Guangzhou No.12 Hospital for medical treatment, in case of severe burns or breathing problems.
