International and Local Culture at Guangzhou Beauty & Cosmetic Expo

The 29th Guangzhou International Beauty & Cosmetic Import/Export Expo was held from September 24 to 27 at Pazhou Complex Phase two in Guangzhou.

Organized by Guangdong International Exhibitions Ltd and the Guangdong Beauty & Cosmetic Association, the expo was inaugurated in 1989 and held twice a year since then.

With six pavilions this time the expo attracted over two thousand companies from both home and abroad to join. More than 200 thousand buyers visited and purchased products.

Large-scale international pavilions

The international pavilions are usually the most frenzied for both visitors and buyers. This year the Italian Beauty Lounge, launched by the Italian Trade Commission, covered skin and body care. Other areas such as the Hong Kong pavilion, the Korea pavilion, the Australian Trade Commission booth and so on also sparkled at the fair.

Eye-catching Chinese medical beauty care

Another highlight was the Chinese medicine beauty care pavilion. Traditional Chinese medicine health preservation has a long history in China, and this year the pavilion was one of the most creative areas at the fair.
