11 HK-GD Cooperative Projects Start Bidding

Guangzhou Municipal Government has decided to pour 50 million RMB (about 6 million USD) into the city's science and hi-tech development this year, in order to promote the bidding of united projects between Hong Kong and Guangdong province in technological breakthroughs.
Bids of 11 of those projects are offered to the public today, Guangzhou Daily reports.
These projects cover fields including:
* regenerated mobile communication and industrialization, * mobile digital television technology, * logistics information service platforms, * automobile parts, * medicine innovation and industrialization, * stem cell research and * senior processing of agricultural products.
Bidding announcement has been sent to the public through both Guangzhou Daily (in Chinese) and Guangzhou Scientific and Technological Website (www.gzkj.gov.cn,in Chinese) today.
October 15th will be the deadline for bidding, with relevant commercial activities following.
