MBA Students Participate in Dragon Boat Races

Dragon Boat Racing is a traditional activities held for Duanwu festival. But if you don't live in a small village and have no dragon boat, there aren't many alternatives than to participate from the shore by cheering along the rowers.

The MBA team from Sun Yat-sen University is an exception to that rule. Since 2004, they have been competing in the annual races with students from home and abroad. With their own professional full-time coach and frequent training, the MBA team endeavours to become a strong and competitive team.

This year, 30 students from China, France and Russia have been training hard since April. Their frequent 90-minute trainings take place in University Mega Center on a 400-meter stretch of clean water perfect for rowing activities. But how shall they perform when confronted to Guangdong's most talented teams? The answer will be revealed on June 26th.
