Chinese Cheerleaders to Show Chinese Charm at NBA Match

A group of vigorous young Chinese cheerleaders will perform in front of thousands of people at the Guangzhou NBA match on October 15.

In the last two years since their founding, the cheerleading team has become a feature at CBA (China Basketball Association) contests. They were also selected as one of four teams for the beach volleyball event at the Beijing Olympic Games.

However, at the October 15 performance, the NBA will give them only two minutes to perform, in order to spare more time for the two US cheerleading teams. Different from the sexy dancing of the US cheerleaders, the Chinese girls will focus more on Chinese fan dance and diabolo juggling. They will also combine acrobatics with the performance.
